Even though there's hardship around you, don't let it bring down your spirit! Gambate! Jiayou!
Again, I blog. Just received the message. We didn't make it through for the second round. Oh well, there's always a next time right. Grr.. On the 8th March 2008. A team of superheroes save BBSS. Yea like real. I, Faiziyyah, Sharon, Vivian, Qi Jie went to NUS to enter a Geography Competition organised by NUS of course. For Section A, was individual answering. The questions for MCQ given, were super tough as there were 5 choices to choose from. And most of it we haven't quite learnt it yet, like denudation and micronesia, blah blah blah. Guess what?! Even my brother knew the meaning of denudation. Goshh.. If I can turn back time and asked my brother what is denudation beforehand. Arghhh. Calm down Atikah. It's just a competition. During the competition, Faiziyyah was the most stressed up person. The others and me was taking it easily. Haha. It's just not our luck that we will go in to the next round. All the best to the other schools who've made it through! Congrats! At least I have been exposed to such difficult questions.
TTFN(got this abbrieviation from Totally Spies)

Hey everyone. Cross country on the 7th March 2008 was the best ever. Though I didn't ran for it, I supported it by making dedications and bought food/drinks coupons. So, indeed I've have played my part to help Bukit Batok Secondary School=)
Well, met up with Jessie at about 6.20 there. And guess what i saw! SYAFIQAH MY DEAREST TWIN! :) She's always the early one waiting for others. How sweet! I and Jessie bumped into Jiamin and Ji a. So, we decided to go together. Before leaving the Chinese Garden MRT station, I bought grass jelly soya bean:P yummy. Fills up my tummy! After that we walked down to the Rest House. It is seriously far. We walked for like more than one kilometre. From dark till the sun rises. It took us more than 30 minutes to reached the Japanese Garden rest house. We've been cheated! ;) So, we reported late for duty. About 5 to 10 minutes late! Bumped into lots of people when we were like running to the rest house. Mdm Faeizah, Mdm Khadijah, Band people, Girl Guides, NCC LAND. Damn, they're early.
When reache the rest house, sweating like hell. Helped the prefects put up the Jogathon banner. Then the 'show' begins. I took charge of 2T1. Not bad. The chairman so sweet, I so paisey luh nearly took her pen. LOL. Jumping to another topic, I love the DJ's laptop! APPLE! It's so sophisicated! high teched! I just love it. Okay back to the story, first part of the cross country was sort of boring. Everyone sitting there talking among themselves. I would rather have a duty. Gosh. I would like to turn back time. I miss that day. Where everyone is very happy and stress free:)When the secondary three girls was going to start running I was incharge of 2 bags Sorry Jessie I couldn't find you. So I only had Sara's and Desiree's bags on my shoulders. I'm rich! I have two crumplers and one Fila bag on that day. LOL.
When they ran near the finishing line(boys and girls), I could see the determination in their faces. They were sure of what they wanted. They wanted to be CHAMPIONS! Some of them, can't be bothered though. Haha. You know who you are. You should have an aim in your life as they will lead you somewhere. So, results was out. And congrats to those top 15 in all levels! And those who knows for themselves that they have succeed, congratulations. You need not get a trophy to be the best. Just be the best you can be. Be yourself.
During the race, i heard my dedication. So, I hope the others hear it too! After the race, went to eat with Syafiqah, Irfaniah, Faiziyyah and Syuhadah. A very treasured moment, though I was rushing back home to make to the netball camp on time. Of course I didn't. Oh well, netball camp was fun! WHACKO was hilarious. They changed the rules. I screamed hysterically throughout the game. Sara Fatimah Sim was lauhging non-stop. I guess she knows the reason why. LOL. I like the part when I purposely asked Geok Ting to come nearer to me then shouting the person at the other far end. Haha. Sorry Geok Ting, I was trying to be funny. I was'nt in the right state of mind at that point of time. So, once again I apologise. Hope you netballers have tonnes of fun during camp!
At the end of this post I would like to wish two people a GREAT BIRTHDAY!
9 march 2008- EZZAT Happy Belated Birthday!
10 March 2008- SARA FATIMAH SIM Happy Birthday!
May all your wishes come true.
All the best to you
I love you.

KUKUP TRIP- 1st MARCH 2008
Firstly, went to school so early, reached there by 6.30. faiziyyah was damn worried when irfaniah didnt turn up. i took a good look at her expression. VERY STRESS. after everyone arrived we boarded the bus and we were the first bus moving and to reach the immigration. The bus driver was the best, Uncle Bobby, talented. He managed to pass through all the huge vehicles. HE also stood up from his seat and asked the drivers to make way. SKILLED MAN OF THE YEAR!:)
SO, at the immigration, it was very awesome. I've never taken a bus to Malaysia. SO immigration was pretty interesting. I didn't know what language to communicate with them, so i just used both. SOunds weird. After the customs, we sat in the bus for a little while waiting for AUNTIE BELINDA. She is so cute and adorable!:) I LOVE HER! HEr style is somewhat flexible not those strict type. HEr husband also very sweet waited for her at the end of our trip, at the immigration. The way she introduced herself was short and sweet. I love her!?
We then was brought somewhere to have our breakfast. But guess what is our breakfast? BUBBLEGUMS, SEAWEED, BISCUITS, SWEET. etc:) though it was raining we still had the spirit!XP .Hmm. I tasted the bublegum, it had a weird taste. SOur? sweet? yeah. but still we blew gum to burst each others bubble( thats what vivian likes to do)
after breakfast we headed to chocolate boutique. I didnt quite learnt much except for the machine used for coating the chocolate. THe prices of the chocolates was quite expensive, for just 100g of chocolate. The most interesting flavour that i have ever tasted was the tomato chocolate. In the chocolate, there is like a fruit( tomato)sweet and sour:) I only bought the chocolate powdered drink which the gave as samples:P It was very sweet! yummy!
We then proceeded to the Royal Museum which was previously owned by the Sultan of Johore. How cool is it? Of course, I think it was posh with the house furnished with crystal furniture, gold and silver plated stuffs. It was GRAND. Sadly, we could not take pictures of the interesting artefacts found in the museum. The most eye catching was the HUNTING ROOM because it showcases the animals that were hunted. Everything in the room was real. I couldn't believe my eyes.
At the pewter factory, i was really interested in the making of the pewter. The molten tin was heavy. The surface of the molten tin if like a mirror! COOL RIGHT?! Yea. THen in the shop got this cute adorable little girl which is obviously scared of me due to my fierce looks.LOL! I advanced a step the moved back one step. I have a couple of pictures of her. YOu want tell me:)
Hmm. then.. A long trip to kukup. "Thanks" yuen kai for taking pictures of people sleeping. I have lots of them just ask me and i will send you the pictures. Wahahahahaha.. Before the going to the fishing village. We ate! Sweet and sour fish, crab, prawns, veggie, fishball! YOu shoud have seen the guys eat. One snap and everything's gone. they even take leftovers. Hungry Monsters. HEHE. They eat and they seemed very full.
After all those good food, we continued with our excursion. We took a boat to the fish farm. I was damn terrified as ther were DOGS! i had a bad experience with dogs. ANd this time they are security dogs. Scare me alot and keneth, changyen and other girls could even approach the dog! Oh my goodness. I felt terrified. The picture of the dog i have was also scary. At the fish farm, I got to touch the baby shark. The skin was pretty rough like sandpaper. I also touched the seahorse. SO ADORABLE! The tail keeps curling round my fingers So ticklishh( got such word?) Everyone was fighting to get to have a good look at the aquatic animals there. I'm lucky:P hehe.
LAst pit stop! Tanjung Piai Nature Park. There were mangrooves with specific names. Rhizophora if I am not wrong. I wasn't able to translate fluently to the class as I dont know some of the words in english. TOOK a class photo too. Then i saw monkeys .Very cute. Their eyes says"I want your yummy food:)" At the southern most tip of mainland Asia. i and my friend acted emo facing the wide sea. It was a beautiful scenery. I will miss the nature and will have to go back to my sort of urbanised life. At the tip of mainland asia, ther was a big globe that could be spun. On the way back home, we stopped at Gelang Patah perhentian where Uncle Bobby topped up fuel and we bougth snacks! Irfaniah had a hard time deciding on what to buy.haha. Girls are like that. Unsure of what to buy.haha.thats about all, the trip was very much enthusiasting. Maybe for a change we should go Thailand, near the rural areas to see how they cultivate wet rice there. It would be a great adventure especially with my friends:)
okay. I'm exhausted by the typing.haha. want to do somthing else:D
